Helensburgh House

Project brief

This steep site is located at the head of a gully and above a stream running from Dunedin’s hills to its harbour.

The house comprises two building wings; bedroom and living. A verandah separates the two wings, linking both and connecting to the landscape.

This home received an NZIA Southern Branch Award 2013.

The house was by Architectural Ecology Ltd and I was the Project Architect.
